REMIXOLOGY: 9 Jan-8 Feb 2025 Solo Exhibition @ The Heath Robinson museum, Pinner, London
Heath Robinson MuseumKetna Patel, a British Kenyan Indian artist, navigates the
complex terrains of cultural identity and belonging with a boldness that is as
vibrant as it is thought-provoking. In this exhibition, Patel explores the
multifaceted concept of "space"—social, political, and
cultural—through a rich tapestry of imagery drawn from mythology, politics, and
everyday life. By juxtaposing iconic figures and archetypal symbols in satirical
contexts, she invites viewers into a dynamic conversation on how identity is
constructed, contested, and negotiated within the intersections of history,
culture, and personal experience. -
