JUNGLEE JUNGLE
JUNGLEE JUNGLE
"The Junglee Jungle: A Glo-cal Garden of British Identity"
"The Junglee Jungle: A Glo-cal Garden of British Identity" delves into the intricacies of British identity within the UK's Indian diaspora, drawing from the artist's experiences across six Commonwealth countries. After spending 25 years in Asia, returning to London becomes a source of inspiration, where immigrant communities flourish, mirroring the artist's own untamed 'junglee' spirit. In this lush composition set against a metropolitan skyline, the artist documents one of the waves of present-day arrivals straight from the agricultural basket of India – the Punjab. She wonders about the contrasting landscapes (both inner and outer) of the immigrants, and how they will fold their subjective realities into this ever morphing anthropological stageset called Britain. Just as the seasons of nature change, the cyclical nature of existence is portrayed, resonating with the regenerative essence of British identity. Immersed in London's immigrant milieu, the artwork evokes the interconnectedness of our shared post-colonial human experience, reflecting on the vibrant and diverse 'jungle' of cultures shaping modern Britain.
Each Fine Art Print is titled, numbered and signed in Ketna’s handwriting.
Depending on each composition’s ‘personality’, colour spectrum and destined geographical location, the Artwork is printed either as a C-Type print on Fuji gloss paper or as a Giclee print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper. (For humid countries e.g Singapore, C-type Fuji paper is advised as it is does not let moisture and mould through)
All Prints are made at the most accredited and reputable Printing studios in London, Singapore or New Delhi, using the best quality fine art archival paper available.
The studio meticulously keeps account of each numbered print, including when and who it was sold to, so there is no chance of duplication.

Metal Prints
HD Metal consists of a thin aluminium plate with a special coating on top. We then use a unique technique to apply the artwork onto it. The result is a phenomenally razor sharp resolution which makes the overall look very contemporary and vibrant. The material we use is scratch-resistant and waterproof so it can be used for outdoor use too. The high-gloss version is the successor of plexiglass prints however it is lighter, stronger and has a luscious colour spectrum! HD Metal comes with a free hanging system and spacer for the wall. HD Metal was created for galleries and top photographers but is my favourite medium as it beautifully juxtaposes the classic and traditional with state of the art technology, resulting in frameless, shiny Art that looks timeless as it 'floats' off the wall.
ChromaLuxe
Our HD Metal is from the world famous brand ChromaLuxe. ChromaLuxe is the world leader in the field of materials for sublimation prints. Using the dye-sublimation technique, the images are "injected" in surfaces that are modified with a special coating layer.
