In Indian culture, we’re raised on the mantra “Atithi Devo Bhava” — guests are gods! So of course, a tray isn’t just a tray… it’s a conversation starter, a stage for chai, gossip, and grand ideas. My art trays take that ritual and remix it — turning the simple act of serving into a pop-art moment. Many collectors prop them up vertically on their console tables, showing them off like mini altars to everyday culture. It’s my way of sneaking art (and a bit of mischief) into the heart of your home — one serving at a time.

These trays are not mass produced, and cannot be compared to a tray in IKEA or even at a museum shop. These are limited edition collectibles; straight from the Artist's studio. There is no 'middle man'.  Each tray is made in the U.K, and the Retail price is double the Production Price.  The difference is a contribution to the Artist's artwork, and supports her costs to keep this enterprise alive. Made from scratchproof melamine, these robust trays measure 43 x 33 cm, and are ideal for everyday use.

"The Junglee Jungle: A Glo-cal Garden of British Identity" delves into the intricacies of British identity within the UK's Indian diaspora, drawing from the artist's experiences across six Commonwealth countries. After spending 25 years in Asia, returning to London becomes a source of inspiration, where immigrant communities flourish, mirroring the artist's own untamed 'junglee' spirit. In this lush composition set against a metropolitan skyline, the artist documents one of the waves of present-day arrivals straight from the agricultural basket of India – the Punjab. She wonders about the contrasting landscapes (both inner and outer) of the immigrants, and how they will fold their subjective realities into this ever morphing anthropological stage set called Britain.  Just as the seasons of nature change, the cyclical nature of existence is portrayed, resonating with the regenerative essence of British identity. Immersed in London's immigrant milieu, the artwork evokes the interconnectedness of our shared post-colonial human experience, reflecting on the vibrant and diverse 'jungle' of cultures shaping modern Britain.
